Review #001

Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Maduro

Super Toro (6×60) · V-cut · Paired with A&W Zero Sugar Root Beer

Right out of the gate, I picked up a nice woodsy flavor with a little musty earthiness, some cocoa, and just a touch of that Maduro sweetness. Not overly sweet, just enough to notice.

The pepper was pretty subtle through the first third, but as I worked my way through the cigar, it started picking up a little. The cocoa, wood, and earthy flavors stayed pretty consistent throughout.

The draw was good, and the burn stayed fairly even. No real complaints there.

This is a really enjoyable Maduro. Good flavor, nice balance, and just enough spice to keep things interesting without taking over. Definitely one of my top ten cigars!

My rating: 8/10
